Step back with your right leg and use your left arm to deflect his kick to your right so his momentum keeps going. Elbow his face as he passes.

Defense Against Shoulder Grab
He grabs with his right. You step back to 8:00 with your left and circle your left arm in a windmill. Wrap his arm so that it’s bent at 90. Right hand grabs your wrist and hip forward forAmericana finish.

Underhand Stab
Low X block, stepping with left. If he’s holding with the right, your right hand will be on top of the X. Right hand catches behind elbow and bring him to you and bend him over. Both hands to elbow for chicken wing finish.
Variation: Do the same by blocking with the left only.
